Trip to Kenya Mission Reports from Pastors

Dear beloved Mum Pastor Margarett

Well I thank the lord for enabling me to cross to 2010.Since this new
year begun i have been i have been waiting upon the lord to teach and
give me direction in every situation in order to enable me build a
better foundation in the kingdom of God this year

We all know that a building must have a design/pattern which
determines the foundation.If the foundation is weak the building will
not withstand heavy storms.This is very much like our christian
lives. When we build our foundation by faith in jesus we are given
sufficient grace to withstand temptations.If this foundation is built
on anything else than jesus' it is bound to fall.

Now personally i did not want to enter 2010 foolishly and regret
later.I chose to be still under the feet of jesus and listen to the
lord teaching me.By the grace of God i gathered the following from the
bible and i would like to share with you hoping that you may be
blessed like it has blessed me .

Exodus 25:40 "Be sure that you make everything according to the pattern
i have shown here on the mountain."

By this the lord is teling us to follow only his ways and never
conform to this worlds ways or the thoughts of man

Romans 12:1-4 Paul says "And so dear brothers and sisters, i plead
with you to give your bodies as a living sacrifice to God - the kind
He will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this
too much to ask?Don'tcopy the behaviour and customs of this world, but
let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think
Then you will know what the lord wants you to do, and know how good
and perfect his will really is."

we cant use our own mind to understand the things of God and that
is why we need God to change our thinking so that for us to understand
what God requires of us .
I believe one's life is without a true foundtion if when faced with a
situation, you make up your own mind without consulting God..Isaiah
30:21 says  and you will here a voice say this is the way, turn around and
walk.

We are required to listen and follow the voice of God in order to
ensure we do his will at all times.

I have come to realise that prayer is the expression of man's
dependancy on God for all things. When praying for our needs the bible
says in psalms 46:10 ''Be stil l and know that i'm God.'' Thus we
learn the importance of having free and quiet time with our creator
and seek his face so as to have sufficient grace to keep us going.

Revelation 21:1-4 tells us that behold the old earth is gone and new
heaven and earth have come from GOD and GOD will live in the kingdom
among his peolpe.
So I start 2010 knowing that God is around me to shield and protect
me , God is Good, God is faithfull and changeless--'' so what is there
to worry about''
